Raquel is a figurative painter finding beauty in the fullness of the human psyche and emotions. Her work is an introspective journey through her own experiences and growth.
Welcome to her world, where art becomes a mirror reflecting deep emotions and the journey of self-discovery. Raquel delves into trauma and limiting beliefs that hold us back, finding liberation through connection, embodiment and creativity. Through her art, we can find beauty and acceptance of the fullness of existence in all its duality.
She creates spaces for vulnerability and connection, inviting you to explore the complexities of your own experiences, and find healing in the shared human experience. Join her in this journey towards truth, radical acceptance and love.
Her process starts with colourful backgrounds created through intuitive play, where portraits are overlaid using oil paint. Through quick and loose brushstrokes, she invites the subconscious to emerge, while colour is used as a carrier of emotions.
