Burning Sisterhood grew out of a time when my relationship with other women was changing.

For a long time, connection didn’t feel easy. There was distance, uncertainty, and a sense of not fully belonging. But through meeting a group of women who became friends, and eventually like sisters, something began to shift.

These paintings come from that experience. They explore sisterhood not as something simple or perfect, but as something alive: at times fierce, vulnerable, tender, and raw.​
